Our client, a growing plaintiff-side First Party Property litigation firm, is seeking a motivated Attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join its team. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in Texas but can work Texas cases from anywhere in Florida. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney looking to take ownership of an established caseload while positioning themselves for future leadership.

The firm has an active pipeline of cases ready to be transitioned to the successful candidate, allowing for immediate hands-on litigation experience and client impact.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and litigate plaintiff-side First Party Property claims under Texas jurisdiction.
  • Handle cases from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in mediations.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands.
  • Communicate with clients and provide exceptional client service.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on case strategy and business growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Bar license is strictly required.
  • Must be residing in or working from Florida (anywhere in FL) or anywhere in Texas.
  • Bilingual Spanish a MUST.
  • 1-3 years of litigation experience.
  • First Party Property experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong legal writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Desire to grow into a leadership and management role.
